In September 2015, As-Salam International Hospital, one of the leading private sector tertiary care hospital in Egypt, has been accredited by Joint Commission International (JCI), the world’s largest healthcare accreditor, in recognition of the hospital’s continuing commitment to patient safety, quality and ethical practices.
The accreditation process aims to confirm that hospitals ensure a safe, minimum-risk environment for patients and caregivers, offer quantifiable benchmarks for quality and patient satisfaction, sustain performance improvement and enhance efficiencies. Nevertheless, accreditation measures implemented to improve performance and address gaps revealed in assessments and onsite inspections.
