General Surgery

General surgery includes everything inside the abdomen such as the intestine, stomach, esophagus, spleen, and liver. It is also considered to be the medical specialty responsible for diagnosing cases and clarifying if they may or may not need surgery.

The general surgery department includes:

- Trauma surgery: includes all severe cases that must be treated as surgery immediately.

- Laparoscopic surgery: making cuts in the body of no more than 1 cm, and the use of accurate tools in addition to the camera, used in the treatment of gallbladder and appendix.

- Colon surgery: Treats colon diseases, gastrointestinal bleeding, and appendicitis.

- Breast surgery: such as removing tumors.

- Vascular surgery.

- Endocrine surgery: as thyroid gland removal.

- Dermatological surgery: treating burns and tumors that are below the skin.
