Job Summary:

Work within the ER including ER specialist physicians, the ER consultants in
collaboration with the CMO and allocating human and non-human resources
to ensure the proper delivery of the medical emergency service in the context
of the Emergency room service in the hospital and that of the distant
ambulatory care in other territories.

Responsibilities:

• Planning the ER departmental objective that goes in alignment with and in support of the strategic planning of the organization
• Planning the resources needed for fulfillment of the emergency services both human and non-human
• Planning the policies and procedures to be carried out within the department scope of work
• Aid to the planning of the unified medical conduct shadowed by guidelines and clinical protocols
• Organizing the work activities of the specialists and their assignment and deployment to various service disciplines either in the hospital or outside the hospital
• Organizing the ties work activities related to remote ambulatory emergency services outside the hospital.
• Organizing the work activities that are pivotal to the provision of an adequate emergency medical service (including stores, pharmacy, billing, and insurance among others)
• Leading the team in the daily work activities and share with them critical decisions to be made with regard to the clinical management of the cases and they're planned
• Assessing the team in critical decisions making with regard to the management of the high-risk cases
• Aiding to the implementation and maintenance of CME (continuous medical education)
• Controlling the processes in the ER and their streamlined flow
• Controlling the documentation process and its adequate fulfillment
• Controlling the resources needed for the adequate fulfillment of ER functions
• Controlling the medical and non-medical performance through the annual appraisal done for the ER specialists
• Controlling the workflow within the frame of the hospital policies, procedures, and regulations
• Taking corrective and disciplinary actions to set back on course the various medical and non-medical performances
• Making sure that the control mechanisms gauging the workflow include the infection control and safety issues
• Supporting other ambulatory care interfaces in the hospital (as OPD)
• Initiating and participating in training programs that aid in fine-tuning the medical performance in the hospital.

Qualification:

• M.D. or equivalent in the specialty.
• 7 years professional experiences after MD with 3 years in a leadership role.
